Jay Z and Jennifer Lopez-J-Lo are using his star-powers and platforms to make sure young black and Latino Americans respectively exercise their right to vote and vote for Hillary Clinton in the upcoming US presidential election.
The rapper, who announced his support for Hillary Clinton long ago, is set to hold a concert in Ohio as a way of encouraging black millennials to vote for the Democratic nominee.

The Clinton campaign has been putting forth a good effort to increase black voter turnout, which was record-breaking during the 2008 and 2012 elections, for several months now. The high percentage of black voters in 2012 helped re-elect President Barack Obama and could ultimately decide the upcoming election.
In addition to partnering with the Mothers of the Movement, Clinton has also made criminal justice reform and the killings of unarmed African-Americans by police a part of her message, which is why an endorsement from Jay Z doesn’t come as much of a surprise, given how outspoken the rapper has been about police brutality and the relationship between African-Americans and law enforcement.
