Former Manchester United defender, Gary Neville, has said he does not believe Arsenal will win the Premier League title this season.
Neville was speaking after the Gunners drew 1-1 with United on Saturday at Old Trafford.
Arsene Wenger’s men needed a late Olivier Giroud header to snatch one point, after Juan Mata opened scoring in the second half.
Neville praised Arsenal for the 11-game unbeaten run, but says they have not shown the quality of champions, that will see them end their 12-year wait for the title.
He told Sky Sports:
“They are a resilient bunch as they always end up getting back towards that second and third spot come the end of the season.
“I didn’t get the impression today watching Arsenal that we were watching a team that would go on and win the Premier League.
“That is just how I feel in this moment. I watched them earlier in the season against Liverpool and I watched the game against Tottenham – I didn’t feel I was watching champions.”
