Oritsefemi lost N8.5 million jewellery in the Quilox squabble – Publicist

 

The much publicised brawl between ‘Double Wahala’ crooner, Oritsefemi and some bouncers at Quilox nightclub has pretty much been settled after the singer had issued a public apology to the owner of the club, Shina Peller and the bouncer he stabbed, Illiasu. However some details of the squabble that resulted in both Oritsefemi and a bouncer landing in the hospital have been made public by the singer’s publicist, Tijani, who claimed that his client lost N8.5 million in jewellery during the squabble.

According to Tijani, “It is very unfair for club crawlers to insinuate Oritsefemi would visit the club to disrupt customers’ peace. This is to clear the air on the allegation that Oritsefemi was drunk and that was the real reason he was ordered out of the club by Shina Peller the C.E.O of Quilox before the brawl went out of hand on early Saturday morning November 12, 2016.
Oritsefemi “At the peak of the fight the bouncers beat him black and blue until he fainted. They stripped him naked inside the club premises. One of the bouncers stole his necklace jewellery worth 8.5 million naira on the spot. They dragged him on the floor for almost one hour before the Police came to rescue him. Even the Police officers who came to rescue him can bear witness.
“He was later invited to Maroko Police station in order to write a statement on what transpired between him and the bouncer. He narrated the whole scenes. The I P O settled the matter. He instructed him to treat the bouncer immediately while the I P O, ordered Quilox management to provide his necklace the bouncer stole or pay 8.5 million Naira, the cash equivalent,” he said
