Niger Delta Militants Sponsors: Olisa Metuh Opens Up

 
Former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chief Olisa Metuh has denied sponsoring the Niger Delta Avengers who had been vandalizing oil pipelines in the country.

According to report, the politician denied sponsoring the militants while requesting that all those spreading rumors about him leave him alone.
Making the clarification via a media statement released on Sunday, Metuh appealed to the current administration to bring the culprits of militant activity to book.
The statement reads in part: “For the avoidance of doubt, I hereby state categorically that I do not have any relationship or association whatsoever either as a sympathizer or sponsor of any militant group, including the Avengers”
