Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, disclosed back in May
that the government is in the process of launching a massive, nationwide
campaign, tagged: “Change Begins With Me,” which is a rejuvenated War
Against Indiscipline (WAI). The essence of the campaign, he said, would
be to make Nigerians to realize that the change they so much desire
would start with them...
War Against Indiscipline is a volunteered
Community Service Provider to help coordinate activities in the society
and promote values and discipline. It was launched by President Buhari
when he was military Head of State in the 80s.
DG of National Orientation
Agency Garba Abari had a meeting with National & State Commanders of
Community Support Brigade/War Against Indiscipline (WAI), today August
8th. The theme of the Meeting was "Repositioning The WAI Brigade for
Enhanced Civil Intelligence Gathering."
Addressing the Brigade, DG Garba
Abari said,
"I commend members of the Community Support Brigade/WAI for
their patriotic zeal towards a sanitised society. I will urge u to
expand your tentacles and operations tackle insecurity by way of
vigilance and cooperation wt security agents. We must all join hands
together to move our great nation forward through patriotism and love.
NOA is working towards restructuring of CSB/WAI which I believe this
meeting will achieve thru robust engagement and participation."
